Prime Mentor
Prime Mentor is a production-ready EdTech platform that has crossed 3,500+ users. I built it end to end on the MERN stack, with three role-based panels, live classes, payments and authentication, and deployed it on a Hostinger VPS with CI/CD.
Long story short
The platform is really three products sharing one backend. Administrators manage the institution, teachers run their classes, and students attend them, and each role only ever sees the surface that belongs to it.
Authentication is handled with Clerk, backed by JWT sessions and Bcrypt.js hashing, so the role a request carries is the role the API trusts. Course material and documents are uploaded through Multer.
Live classes are created against the Zoom API rather than rebuilt from scratch: a class scheduled in the teacher panel becomes a session the student panel can join. Payments go through Eway.
It runs on a Hostinger VPS with CI/CD, and has held 99%+ uptime as it grew past 3,500 users.
